Katie and Emily met as young 7 month old babies swinging next to each other in the park across the street.  They adored one another then and still do today.  I can honestly say that Emily is Katie's oldest friend and closest friend.  Emily's mom is one of my dearest friends as well.  I am so glad we chose to go to the park that day!

Macy's Flower Show (Kind of)

 

Macy's Flower Shower is usually held inside on the first floor of Macy's.  I loved it in years past.  This year I was sad to learn that instead of decorating the inside, Macy's put up a huge tent outside to host the Flower Show.  When we saw the line to get in we turned around.  At least the windows were pretty and we did get to see some interesting characters.
