Katie's Adventure with Doner, Falafel and Humas

Yesterday evening, we went out Greenwich Village for dinner. Wife had a doner sandwhich (which was mostly lamb; it is the Turkish variant of gyros or shawarma) and I had a falafel and humas sandwhich. For my money, I think this might be some of the most delicious food in the world (Wife disagrees with me about the falafel and humas, but agrees about the doner). If you don't know what that stuff is, clock on the links - it's worth knowing about if you ever come out to NYC. Who would have guessed that I would eat the vegetarian meal while Wife would chow down with the pile of meat?

We took our food over to Washington Square Park where we relaxed for an hour, surrounded by street performers, and ate our dinner. Katie loved all of the food. Of course, I'm not sure if we've found much of anything Katie doesn't like. She enjoyed pretty significant portions of each of our meals.
