This morning, we continued our walking tour of NYC. Katie, Mommy and I walked about 7 miles this morning, starting out in Hell's Kitchen, walking through Midtown West/Times Square, stopping at Bryant Park, walking through Midtown East and then traveling north to explore the Upper East Side. We turned around just before getting to Harlem and did our turn again in reverse.
I'm still amazed at how a few blocks produces such a change in atmosphere. In a few minutes we can go from the frantically busy Times Square area to the very distinguished "old money" feel of the Upper East Side.
