The Kleptomaniac

Recently, I was coming home from work as Wife and Katie were leaving the local park where Katie played on the swing. Wife pushed Katie's stroller into the building moments before me, so I sped up to that we could ride up the elevator together. After we walked into the apartment, I unstrapped Katie from the stroller and picked her up. But there was a weird clanking noise. As I held Katie against my side, I felt a strange lump.

Katie was wearing a onesie with denim jeans. I felt Katie's tummy and there was an odd lump. I reached down into Katie's top and pulled out my dress watch. Somehow during the day, Katie found my dress watch. Wife has no idea how or when, but Katie stuck it in her shirt to save for later. Wife and Katie had been gallivanting all over the city that afternoon - there's no telling how long it had been in there. We're raising a kleptomaniac.
