We have received several suggestions that Wife and I replace our pseudonyms with something a bit more creative. Remember, Wife is an accountant and I am a tax attorney—how much creativity do you think we have?
We have received a few suggestions, we’ve added a few to the list, and now we need your help in thinking up suggestions. Here’s what we have so far:
Adam and Eve (W. suggested this one)
George and Martha
Fred and Wilma
Homer and Marge
George and Hot Lips (we’ve got Linda to thank for that one)
Donald and Daisy
John and Abigail
Any other suggestions? If we get some good suggestions, I’ll add them to the poll.

Wait, now, let me explain "George." For those of you who don't know, Husband and I were war buddies: we sat next to each other for six months in an infamously difficult class in law school. Every morning, H. would come in and groan and moan about how far behind he was, how hopeless the situation was, and how we were all going to die. So I started calling him George, for that popular "sky-is-falling" character from Seinfeld. Those who are familiar with the show will remember that George was an eternal pessimist, and in one particular episode, made the announcement that the best way to convince people that he was very busy was to always look irritated. I thought it appropriate.
"Hot Lips" comes from, well... have you met Wife? :)
I think you should use Tootsie and Gig.
Linda J.: Yeah, we got to see a lot of each other while we were war buddies. And it's true--Linda got the privilege to enjoy my pessimistic outlook on the battle every morning for almost six months. Good times. No, it wasn't really such good times. At least I had you to preserve at least a sliver of my sanity.
Anonymous 7:27: Hmmm...I wonder where I could possibly know you from? That's hilarious and I will definitely run that one by Wife/Eve/Wilma/Abigail/Tootsie.
I personally like husband and wife. It is so generic that it cracks me up.
